A Dream Years in the Making
Sherie has spent over 25 years in the safari industry — 15 of them living in Tanzania. She has watched brilliant, capable Tanzanian women overlooked, passed over, and shut out of an industry that belongs to them as much as anyone.
The Tanzania Women's Sponsorship Program exists to change that. Every dollar raised goes directly toward funding Tanzanian women through a three-month safari training course — covering computers, supplies, and everything they need to succeed.
When they complete the course, we don't just hand them a certificate. We provide job placement support and walk alongside them as they step into careers that were never supposed to be theirs — and claim them anyway.
